This poster was designed in response to an invitation to submit to the TMX conference exhibition on the theme of ‘The Future is Female’. A metaphor is drawn between the selvedge of a weaving and the ‘self’ edge of a person. It is also a reflection on the traditionally feminine craft of weaving. The lettering is deliberately left loose and the contours unfinished, to convey the messiness of a poor self-edge (which can also be beautiful.)
